The mission of the Early County Emergency Management Agency is to provide a comprehensive and aggressive all-hazards approach to mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery and special events.

The purpose of our mission is to protect life and property and to prevent and/or reduce the negative impact of natural and man-made events in Early County.

Early County Fire Department

Early County Fire Department consists of approximately 60 volunteers under direction of the

Early County Emergency Management Agency.

The department operates from 12 Stations located across the 500+ square miles of Early County.

Early County Search & Rescue

Early County Search & Rescue consists 15 volunteers under direction of the

Early County Emergency Management Agency.

These volunteers are responsible for search and rescue efforts on the lands and waters of Early County.
